Cockroaches will climb into the jar to chase bait but will not be able to come back up ever again due to the sticky jelly and die slowly.
16. Duct Tape Trap

Get a clean and dry glass jar and a small plastic cup or styrofoam to fill it with wet coffee grounds. The cup should be small enough to easily fit into the jar and sturdy enough to not get affected by water.
